Nate Schnitman was called to the mission field immediately after college and was assigned in the Philippines. There he met his wife, Nena. They were married there in the Philippines. In 1982 God called them back to the US for a different ministry. That ministry was here at Wylie Bible Church.  After putting his children through college, Nate pursued his goal to get his Masters in Biblical Studies from Dallas Theological Seminary. Nate and Nena continue to go back to the Philippines once a year for ministry in two churches there (in addition to visiting family there). They have 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren.

Nate and Nena have been with Wyile Bible Church (Formally Northeast Bible Church) since it was founded over 30 years ago. Nate serves us as senior elder and comptroller.  Nate and Nena host a weekly small group in their home.
